I often experienced my father with a photo or film camera. That left its mark on me. When I was 18, I borrowed an SLR camera from him. Since then, the desire to take pictures has accompanied me. Born in 1956 in the Mulde Valley near Leipzig, I now live in Upper Lusatia. Various activities and professional training such as working with disabled people are part of my life. Since 1990 I photograph freelance and publish regularly. Besides my own photo projects, which were shown in numerous exhibitions, I work as a photojournalist.
