Creating is my nurture, it’s in my nature. What intrigues me the most is the human mind. I fall in love with works that have a meditative effect, whether it is by imagining the stroke of a brush or by the aura of the artwork itself, that is what I strive to create in my own work. We live in a fast moving world and I think we can all agree that we humans need to breathe deeper, slow down and listen. When looking at my work, if only just for a moment, someone deepens their breath or feels better after their viewing, that is when I feel my work serves purpose. I believe in art as therapy, truth, love and compassion for others. Dreaming of a better world may sound unrealistic and naive but I think that is the only way of surviving in this world.
