Even as a child, Vera Landmann liked to take on the role of an observer. Taking a step back and seeing what happens still feels natural to her today. This allows her to see images that others don't. Influenced by her childhood in California in the nineties, she is particularly inspired by bright color contrasts and exciting lighting situations. She uses photography as documentation and loves to play with compositions and carefully choose the detail. Whether traveling, out and about in Berlin or at home, Vera recognizes the romance in the everyday and captures it with her camera and an analog color film.
