We care about our earth and future generations! As a company, we see it as our responsibility to do our part for more sustainability, to stop global warming and the shortage of crude oil. You can find out how we do that here.
What materials do you use for shipping?
We work to conserve resources and use materials that are as plastic-free as possible. Our supplier Biobiene provides us with packaging material that is made from 100% recycled paper and is produced in an energy-efficient manner.
Our packaging material can easily be disposed of in the waste paper garbage can. In this way, we want to avoid large amounts of plastic waste. Furthermore, we are currently working on a solution to recycle our edge protection.
You may know the blue corners that are used to protect especially works of art. These are mostly made of LDPE, which is a plastic that is less sustainable. We have already looked through a few alternatives, but so far none has convinced us.
Therefore, we are currently testing a deposit system, where we use blue edge protection, but you can send it back to us at our expense, so that we can recycle it. If you find more plastic in your Paketet, then we have received this filling material itself and try to recycle it.
Shipping with goGreen
We have decided that we want to deliver your new art to your home climate neutral. This happens with Go Green of the transport service provider DHL. In this process, the emissions caused by shipping are offset by investments in global climate protection projects.

Sustainability of frames and mounts
We source our frames from a small family business in the south of Germany. The frames are made by hand from FSC-certified wood. The resulting wood waste is used for heating in the cold months. Our mounts are chlorine and acid free.
